KCC do use test centres in Wilmington/Dartford and a few years ago when there were only a couple thousand OOC testers they didnt need to look elsewhere. With over 5000 now being tested i guess they have to look further afield for test locations. This was the info given to parents this year (and last year) in an email - but lets not start that debate again. Good luck with the trip though, hopefully it wont be too long a journey for you

OP, if you are moving to Kent anyway, travelling to Ramsgate for the day may introduce parts that you hadn't previously considered. Canterbury (and the surrounding area) is rather attractive and from Canterbury itself, commuting to London is not over burdensome .
