Hi There

Does anyone know what distance WGSB went to last year. Also if you live in Bexley are you deemed as out of borough?

Thank you

You might want to get this moved to the correct geographical area. The catchment criteria will be on the school and local authority websites, I would imagine.

If Bexley is in the small sliver of the western edge of the 1.5 mile radius of the school which is ?criterion 3 (off the top of my head, from having had a quick look at the Admissions policy), then perhaps you are in with a chance? I can't expand the map far enough on my phone to see what's what, I'm afraid.

It's probably linked to somewhere on the Kent County Council website anyway be easier to read on a bigger screen, of course.

Yes Bexley is deemed out of borough. People in Bexley with a shorter distance than the catchment parish areas didn’t get a place. Also even some local Kent boys didn’t get a place due to the large number passing the test. Many Bexley residents who put Wilmington and Dartford were offered local comps despite good kent test scores...in previous years Bexley boys got a place but not last year unless they were siblings or had extremely high scores way way over 400.

Hi. We live in Bexley village, and my dd and several other girls from her primary school got places at Wilmington Girls in this years entry. I know of 2 boys from her primary who got places at Wilmington Boys , one of whom has a older sister at the girls school which gives them a priority, but one who, as far as I know doesn't have any siblings.

Girls school starts at 8.40, and the boys wouldn't be far different as they both use the same 601 bus service from Bexley Village.

I think the school admission clerk would probably be able to tell you over the phone whether they took any boys ooc, without a sibling priority, or governors place last year, and what distance that might have been. the girls school have had the distance on display at the last two open evenings.

Good luck
