Hi,
We just got out raw scores.

DD is not convinced about her score in one subject. She is sure she did way better. Can we request re-marking?

Has anyone requested re-marking? Please can you share your experience?

Thanks

I don't know about Kent but in most areas the exams are marked by computer easy & accurate for multiple choice) & I don't think anyone on the forum has ever known of the marks changing. Hopefully someone who knows about Kent will answer you as well

Thank you. I will ring tomorrow. One mark... and her CAT scores were top scores - something happened on the day. It just doesn’t stack up.

Perhaps you could ask her HT tomorrow if they did a HT appeal? It sounds like she has grounds for appeal

I believe the tests are marked by an optical reader and the device rejects any paper where the answer is unclear/ambiguous so it can be marked by hand. In Bucks I don't think there has ever been a change in marks after a re-mark, such is the accuracy of the process as the back-up.
