| Post subject: | Judd OOC Cut-off confusion |
There's something I have noticed on the Judd Website regarding OOC Cut-offs for 2018 entry. The website has 2 links- first one says the cut-off was 395 on 1-March that went down to 393 in Sep., while the second one says it was 400. http://www.judd.online/admissions http://www.judd.online/page/?title=Admi ... try&pid=52 I have sent an email to Judd Admissions to explain the discrepancy but no reply yet. Does anybody else on this forum have any more information about this or am I reading it wrongly? I am well aware the cut-offs can change from year to year but my DS's score is on borderline so I am in a bit of a dilemma. |

I can't get your second link to work, perhaps they've removed it already as it is an error? I know some of the Kent grammars had the scenario for OOC candidates where they had a cut off on 1st March, then it went up immediately after offer day to account for late sitters, and those who added the school late as a preference, then it went back down, so that is also another possible explanation depending on the date of the 400 figure? |

Think 400 is the error: that was the previous year's cut off, which stayed the same in April. |

Yeah, they've now removed the second link, probably in response to my email query. So it's 395 as of 1-March 2018. |

395 was the cut-off for 2018 entry as of 1st March 2018. However it dropped to 393 in due course. |

My DS got an offer last year with 396 as cut off was 395 in the first list. OOC went down to 393. Judd is a great school. DS got an offer at Tiffin so finally took that offer. |
