Date of Kent tests

Does anyone know if there has been any decision yet when the Kent tests will be? I know there's a suggestion that they will move to September - but hopefully not the 3rd week when the Bexley tests take place. I'm assuming this wouldn't be too bad for Bexley residents as our children tend to do the Kent tests on a Saturday. But I seem to remember Kent children coming to sit Bexley tests at some of our secondary schools on a weekday.

As I understand it the decision will be made by Ed Balls in May.

If he goes with the Sept date it will be 18/19 Sep for in county and Saturday 20th Sept for out of county.

So it looks like the dates may clash. Once the decision has been made you could speak to the LEAs involved.

They're 16th and 17th September this year in Bexley so I guess technically they wouldn't clash though some kids are going to have a tough week if they do Bexley and Kent tests!!
