Thank you Tarafaic -- I'm looking for ones where you can only get to school by train - so if they don't have a train station, they're off my search list.

I just can't work out how to get quickly to the answer. The logical starting point would be a map of train stations in Kent, cross out all tiny places and also ones with secondary schools (how would I know that easily?) then see which of these places is more than 3 miles from a secondary school .... another big job ... then see if you can get a train from that place to that secondary school ... another big job ... then see if there is a bus .... another big job.

So far, I know of one place only in Kent which is reasonable size (population around 9 - 10K), has no secondary school, more than 3 miles to secondary school, and there is no bus from that town to anywhere near that secondary school at the start and end of the school day.

I'm thinking it might be unique in Kent but I want to be sure.

and I'm thinking if no-one on here can think of such a place then maybe it is?
