Hi if a head teahers appeal is successful would you it say on your admissions letter ??? A friend has been offered her 3rd place school but head teacher says her child has a place at Grammar on the back of her appeal surely her letter would say this wouldn't it ??

On our letter the first paragraph states which school you have been allocated. The second paragraph states that xxxxxxxxxxx was entered into the 11+ selective process and was found suitable.
I assume this means either she passed or got through on HT appeal - I would imagine the sentence would read the same for both. I think you only know scores or HT appeal by asking your primary school.
Is the Grammar in question oversubscribed?

A grammar school place is a grammar school place - be it a straight pass or a HT appeal! I wouldn't worry about which one it is!
