Looking on the Ofsted website, having had a a poor assessment in 2013, Holcombe was subsequently rated 'good' the following year and seems to have remained so, at least up to and including the last look-see in 2018. Of course, Ofsted inspections, like the MOT, are a snapshot on the day and anything could have happened in a year and a half. Look at all those schools which, until inspectors popped in recently and found them to be sadly lacking, had been riding on an 'outstanding' rating obtained a decade or more ago...
