It would only be important if you didn't know the test result and were putting grammars down just in case your DC passed the test, but didn't know. If everything were put back including CAF sumission absolutely it wouldn't make a difference. I can understand why Kent with fewer CAF options in a grammar area would have concerns if they didn't have the test result back before CAF submission.kenyancowgirl wrote:With all due respect I actually don’t see why having more options is especially important this year over any other year.

I also note from the letter to Y5 parents on the Medway site that it says CAF submission deadline is moved to 30 November. Has anyone seen anything that this might be a national approach?

No, but you can see why they might consider it. Not just for grammar results, but also to give Y6 families generally more of a chance to attend open days.
