Date of OOC Kent test

The email on the new date for the Kent test (back in July) said that out of county test date would be "from" 17 October. The Kent CC website is now stating that the out of country test will take place "on" 17 October.
Does anyone have inside info whether the test will therefore take place only on 17 October? Looking to make plans for the following week, being half term week 1, as now Newstead has been moved to during half term week 2.
