In past years Kent has never treated OOC candidates with huge favours so this year is unlikely to be much different. The challenge would be if the region you were in was to be designated a different lockdown phase to Kent. Also what happens if you have to self-isolate? At the moment all areas in the SE seem to be in the same criteria and there is no ban from moving between Kent and a London borough for example. Exam halls have traditionally had a certain amount of social distancing going on anyway, that will probably just have to be upped a bit and parents given clear instructions about not congregating.

When DD sat her test all children from the same school attended that centre along with a few other schools so it created a sort of bubble anyway and that was before Covid.

DD was off school today as it would have been her school's test day, it was a bit bizarre really as the test is now rescheduled for October half term.

Many thanks for shedding light on this PettswoodFiona. Just that am so curious. Hopefully we hear from them this week.
