My DS received a letter from Wilmington today thanking him for his interest in the school, for sending in a supplementary form and wishing him all the best for the year, SATS etc.
DS was impressed.
What an effort that must be to send out to everyone!
I have heard concerns from friends that it is the school everyone appeals to, and so doesn't get the best of the best.
However, with their fantastic headteacher I think it is a school that will only get better and better results.
We put it 3rd on out list purely because of distance - I would prefer DS to do after school activities and I wouldn't be able to get over there to collect him.

I thought it was a lovely letter as well. I rang on Friday to explain that DS got great marks in Maths and VR but has failed the NVR, and she explained that I could appeal in March. This is a great relief. I rang and it was engaged. Left message - and they rang back within half an hour. Very refreshing.
