Really the best way to learn maths is to pratise applying it ... try some problems not what you are thinking.

I am looking for a recommendation of a book or resource that would help us revise all maths required for 11-+. Would someone be able to recommend a good resource, where all the maths is organised, the rules put together. Thanks so much.

It depends on which year your child is in, and also whether he/she learns extra outside school. The best thing will be the curriculum, even though it can be quite difficult for some parents to understand what they mean exactly.

As others have said, CGP studybook is an option. You can also try Letts KS2 maths, or Bond's "How to do maths". If you are just starting, these will be quite useful. But personally I feel that they are all a bit too easy.
