I loved log tables - mentioned them to DS1 the other day and he looked at me as if I had walked out of a cave wearing a bear skin!!!
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad !

yes, doodles, same here. I loved them, and slide rules. Strangely satisfying.

Still got my slide rule!

Yep - love the slide rules and logs...

Was watching UFO (remember about 1969???) the other day ... meant to be set in the future .... very state of the art huge computers all with flashing whizzing lights and yes ... slide rules..!!

tried asking for one in a shop the other day - blank looks all round!
