ks2 maths levels

Post by Tree »

Does anyone know how the levels split for ks2 maths on the link in guest55's post above the threshold tables don't distinguish between level 5a,5b,5c but just have level 5 as generally over 77/78 out of 100 are the levels equal ie 5a>93 5b>85 5c>78

KS2 Level 5 tends not to be differentiated. Schools tend to give just level 5 without any sub levels.

I think the info does exist, but schools do not issue it.

You can probably guess it for yourself if you have the raw score. I would assume that a high score (90+) would be a potential top level 5. But who knows for sure?

Look at the threshold tables for the optional tests for year 5 and approximate.

Well in my school they always give the sub-level and this is what they give as a 5c,5b and 5a-

5c=79-85
5b=86-93
5a=94-100

Last time i got 93/100 and i got 5b so very close to 5a
