how many
a) tenths are equal to 50.6

b) hundredths are equal to 40.75?

Please how do I work this out for my son

Tenths is the 1st position after the decimal point whilst the hundredths is the 2nd position.

Hence there are 506 tenths in 50.6 and

4,075 Hundredths in 40.75
