Pass mark in a %

Hi can anyone tell me as a % what is need to get pass ie 117. I understand the points system ie age etc. i just like to know ie in a %

It depends on which area or school you are applying to. In Kent for the "ordinary" grammars who just require a pass, a raw score of around 50% (varies a bit according to age) would have got you through in recent years. The exact mark varies from year to year.

The only use in knowing this is to come up with techniques so that your child does not spoil their performance when the realise they cannot answer all the questions or finish in time. In multichoice take a guess and move on is the trick, and come back to those questions at the end if you have time.

It definitely does depend on which reigon the test is being taken at,with some requiring much higher score marks than others but some schools may also adjust the score depending on age as well.
