how high was the 3rd bounce?

how high was the 4th bounce?
Second bounce is 1.5 times the first = 1.5 x 2 = 3 feet

So third bounce is 1.5 x 3 = 4.5 feet (sorry decimals are easier to type!)

Fourth bounce = 1.5 x 4.5 etc

every bounce is 1.5 times as high as the one before

first bounce is 2ft
second bounce is 1.5 X 2ft = 3ft
third bounce is 1.5 X 3ft = 4.5ft
fourth bounce is 1.5 X 4.5ft = 6.75 or 6 3/4

edit to add - I'm too slow. :)
