1, 11+x=5

2, x+5=3

3, 3+x=-5

4, x+7=2

this homework from school.it be kind anyone able to help.i do not have a answer for this.thankyou.

1. x = -6
2. X = -2
3. X = -8
4. X = -5

Use a number line,
11+ something is 5,
how would you get from 11 to 5,
You have to take away 6
hence x=-6 (minus six)
