kate bought a notebook and 2pens.she paid £1.45

calculate the cost of a notebook.

can anyone explain the workout please.thankyou.i do not have a answer for this.

Kate buys one more pen that Hassan's purchase - so that must cost the extra money ie 35p.

Once we know that we know the notebook was 110 - 35 ie 75p
