There are 10,000 square centimetres in a square metre so 15 square metres = 150,000 sq centimetres so answer would be 60

I wondered if this was a rogue question when I saw it, perhaps wandered in from a 4th or 5th paper by mistake, becasue so much harder than any of the other questions in the book

not a good question really ... not only tricky for the age range but rather open to misinterpretation.. if you have a moment try googling the difference between "meters squared" and "square meters"

Oh dear, I thought this was a mistake too! I feel as though I'm in Mensa training.

How does one gauge if a question is of 11+ level, or is it just hard?
