Help with this question please

Please help with this question

The mean (average) of four whole numbers is 16. The mean of three of them is 14.
The remaining number must be
A 2
B 15
C 22
D 30

This is fron sample paper of LANCASTER ROYAL GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

If the mean of 4 numbers is 16 then the total = 64
if the mean of 3 numbers is 14 then the total is 42

so remaining number is 22 i e how much do you have to add to get a mean of 16.
