Please can someone explain the following:

Marcus multiplies a number by 96, then divides the answer by 4. Sanjit does a different calculation which has the same result.

Which could be Sanjit's calculation

Answer: Multiply the number by 8, then divide the answer by 3.

Is it possible there's a typo in your post or in the book? Could the answer be: multiples the number by 8 and then multiplies the answer by 3?

I just checked my paper and the answer is C, multiply the answer by 8 and then multiply the answer by 3 which works. Mine is a 2011 edition.
