year 4 maths.

My DS is in yr 4, what kind of preparation or what level do we have to get our kids to at the end of yr 4 in maths. For now we are working on fractions and i'my planning to do decimals, percentage, square numbers, negative numbers by easter. And then start on sims and schofield book 2 onwards. Is this good enough?

Level depends on whether you are just preparing to keep up the knowledge and do well at school OR get into the top grammar schools

Times tables underpin so much of the maths of y4 upwards. Work on knowing the inside out and back to front. There are lots and lots of good games online.
