Private School Maths Papers - minimum score required

Hi,

As part of my DD's prep for the 11+, we have recently been working through private school specimen papers - Dulwich College, Manchester Grammar and Perse.

What is the 'minimum' % score she should be getting in these papers in order stand a realistic chance of being successful at the 11+??

Her scores for Perse were ok but the Manchester and Dulwich papers have been lower compared to the usual papers so panic is starting to set in (although I'm trying my best to hide it!).

Any guidance on this would be most useful.

Thanks,
Amoda

This will depend on which schools you are applying for? Some require a higher pass mark than others. DG

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear.

The ultimate aim is to secure a place at Nonsuch or Wallington so we were just using the private school papers as part of our prep.

Thanks

70-80% Paper A
60% Paper B would do

Thanks parent2013, that's reassuring and good to know.

My DD found those papers useful along with the FPTP Numerical Reasoning books for the Nonsuch and Wallington prep.

Just waiting for the results now.

Thanks again.
