This is from DfE for interim teacher assessment to show working at the expected standard

53 ÷ 7 + 3 ÷ 7 =

Is that for Year 1?

Would that be the same as 56 ÷ 7 ? (says she, hoping not to make a fool of herself)

Even better if they can explain it in a sentence with a fronted adverbial and, possibly, a relevant relative clause.

Extra marks will be given if the answer is in the passive voice or shows mastery of the subjunctive.
