Useful Materials for Henrietta or London Grammar schools

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend very useful books and websites that I can use to prepare my daughter for 11+ tests please. There are so many books on the internet and I am very confused right now.

Did anyone find Explore Learning tutoring school useful? Please let me know your thoughts.

There is no such test as London Grammar schools, each test has its own format.

What year is your dd in and which tests will she be sitting?

I do not find that Explore Learning is suitable for the 11 plus, in particular being able to write fast in English after only being on the keyboard. DG

Thanks for replying to my message Daogroupie. In response to your question, my daughter is in year 5. I am preparing her for Mill Hill County and Henrietta. I didn't think Explore could help her much since it's computer based. I'm probably better off spending that money on one-to-one.

HBS had 2700 apply to take the first round test this year. Only 300 go through to the second round so 2400 students did not get through this year.

A couple of backups are the best option if HBS is your first choice.

Mill Hill only have 24 places and lowest score to get in both 2016 and 2017 was 258 out of 282 so I would suggest you need a third option. DG

DG - you are a tutor and you know that's a misleading statement

OP - the scores are standardised so it is NOT 'out of' anything. A certain % of applicants will be successful ...
