I am looking for a recommendation of a book or resource that would help us revise all maths required for 11-+. Would someone be able to recommend a good resource, where all the maths is organised, the rules put together. Thanks so much.

I'd recommend the CGP 11+ study guide in Maths (though there are others for verbal reasoning, non verbal reasoning etc).

I'm sure some other forum members will be along with their recommendations to.

What rules? I'm not sure wat you are after ...

You could start here, to give you an idea of where your DD is with regard to what she should be expected to be able to do in Maths?

What year would students normally be taught these concepts?

Year 6 Programme of study:

Statistics
Pupils should be taught to:

interpret and construct pie charts and line graphs and use these to solve problems
calculate and interpret the mean as an average

Notes and guidance (non-statutory)

Pupils connect their work on angles, fractions and percentages to the interpretation of pie charts.

Pupils both encounter and draw graphs relating 2 variables, arising from their own enquiry and in other subjects.

They should connect conversion from kilometres to miles in measurement to its graphical representation.

Pupils know when it is appropriate to find the mean of a data set.

DG I've posted links to this many times ... I'm shocked you as a tutor aren't aware of the changes made several years ago!!!!

Maths in some 11+ only goes to the end of Year 5.

What I mean by rules is not just a list of topics to cover, but a 'child friendly' book with these topics explained, so for instance all properties of shapes summed up, formulas for areas and perimeters put in one place - a kind of revision book that I could give to my dd and she could read and refresh her memory; to be sure we haven't missed or forgotten anything important.
