My DS (Year 6) has been doing a lot of papers and scoring 75 % . It is difficult for me to see which problem areas, whether any topics have not been covered in depth, hence mistakes. I wonder whether, as there ia bit of time till January, to do maths topic by topic to check understading and depth of each topic and then in about half term October do papers? What would be your advice pelase?

My advice would be to read your own other thread!!!!
You have stated over on that thread that your son fails to read questions properly and makes rusher mistakes. Tell him to read the question properly - that should help.
