hi, can some pls explain the answer for this question. thank you in advance
The block shown, of length 18 cm, is to be cut into 6 smaller blocks, each of
length 3 cm. If it takes 3 minutes to cut through the block each time, how
many minutes will it take to cut the block into six smaller, equal pieces?

Difficult without the picture - it is a cuboid 18 cm long? I think you need 5 cuts .. so 15 minutes?

I find diagrams work well with this type of question.
