Formula for CEM maths
Hi,
Can you please advice me what are the formulas that the children are expected to know for the CEM math exams? Do they need to know the roman numerals as well? If so up to what number?
Any advice is very much appreciated as my daughter will be sitting the exam this September.

Re: Formula for CEM maths
I don't think roman numerals came up last year for my daughter (although she had been taught them at school so would have been ok with them). Things i would say she should definitely know are; calculating area and volume, angles (of a quadrilateral, triangle, straight line etc).

Roman numerals are taught in year 4&5 and go up to the Ms, 5 + digit numbers, so it is possible , I would have thought, as it is in National Curriculum
