Can anyone please suggest how to solve the following ? thank you in advance.

How many different lines can be drawn between the vertices of a regular hexagon ?

A hexagon has 6 vertices - to draw a diagonal you need 2 vertices which are not adjacent to each other. So, from each vertex you can draw 3 diagonal lines, so in total there are 9 which can be drawn.
