Pleas could someone help
q14)There is a group of children and cats. There are 13 heads and 36 legs present. How many children are there? Ans 8
22)Sam rounds a whole number to the nearest 1,000. A differet whole number, rounded to its nearest 10, produces the same result of 1000. What is the maximum difference between the two numbers? ANS 504
38)The following square measures 5mm x5mm How many small squares wll fit in large square 20cmx20cm
ANS 1600

14) if there are 13 heads, if they were all children how many legs would there be? 26 (each child having two legs) But there are 36 so that's 10 extra legs. Because cats have two extra legs that's 5 cats. 13-5=8.

22). What's the smallest/largest number that could be rounded to its nearest thousand? 500 or 1499 What's the smallest/largest number that, when rounded to the nearest 10, is 1000? 995 or 1004 The biggest "gap" between the numbers ie 1004-500 or 1499-995 both equal 504.

38) I don't know if this is the best way but I would do it like this. 20cm on the side. How many 5mm edges fit into that? 20cm = 200mm. So 40 X 5mm fit into the 20cm. 40 edges x 40 edges = 1600.
