Lancaster Girls Grammar past entrance results

My daughter is taking her 11+ for LGGS this September. She has been practising the GL assessment papers, and I just wanted to see how she's trending against the "pass" mark of previous years. I'm aware its only a guide, but it would be useful to see if she's on course.

Does anyone know where I can find previous year average pass scores. Or if anyone can tell me whats scores she should be aiming for in each of the Maths, English, VR in %age terms.

It is very quiet on here unfortunately. Lancaster girls is same test same date as Clitheroe which my child sat last year. They don't publish the pass mark or tell the successful candidates their mark so everyone starts on an equal footing. The headteacher indicated at the open evening for us that around 75% in each subject would be in the right range for an in catchment candidate. They need to achieve a pass in each subject. Tests done today... phew..

Any idea how the scoring works... is it an average of the 3 exams? or certain scores for them separately? or what?

Sorry, meant to say. i.e. can doing well in one test hold up an average score in another. Or essentially, how does the scoring work?

The admissions policy says "the scores of the three tests will be calculated together to determine an overall score"

Sounds like they are not looking for a minimum in any particular subject

My understanding is Lancaster is the same as Clitheroe (which my child sat last year) The head confirmed to me when I asked at the open evening that they needed a pass in each paper so Maths, English and VR to pass overall.

What is a pass varies year to year I think but in catchment about 75% is regarded to be the correct ball park.

It says three multiple choice tests, maths, english and VR
