Not long now!

Post by secondtime »

I said to my friend today - good luck tomorrow and he said - why?
He had forgotten it was allocation day for his daughter.
OMG I can't settle tonight at all - my son is desparate to join his brother - the waiting is unbearable.

Wish I was as cool as that Dad!

Are you in Lincolnshire (?) or Notts?

We're in Notts and were told we'd get an e mail after midnight and we're still waiting. Feels like torture been checking throughout the night every 2 hours.

Wish I was like that Dad too.....

Hi roll 17

I am in Notts - but school is Kings Lincs.

Have been stressed since son got 234 in 11+ and school said 235 was the cut-off!
We were going to move to Lincs in November but had to reassess following his results. Not sure how easy it will be to sell house now as supply has increased in my area. Still may not be an issue :?

Still no Email from Notts - anyone know when they came last year?

Hi we're Newark and going for KGGS.

If it's any cosolation the last couple of years the cut off has been lower than that. 229 and 225.

fingers crossed for you.

Ours is done on distance , tho wish it was other way round as DD got a high pass in the 260's.

This is so stressful.

Just got Email.

We are near end of alphabet!

Its a Yes (hooray!) and the wave of relief surprised me!
Good Luck.

I have a daughter who is younger and I can understand the frustration with KGGS - especially with such a high score.

Congratulations.... We have a yes too.

Although it didn't go to plan as we'd already left for school and I left my phone at home. DD was devastated that she didn't know when others did so I've had to ring School and ask the teacher to tell her. She'll be mighty relieved.

Delighted DD got into QEHS Gains, and she is now the (very) proud owner of a QEHS school jumper! Congrats to the other successes! :P
