Hi all. Sorry to post something I am sure has been answered many times before, but I am getting so many mixed messages, I wonder if smeone could please confirm (a) when we get the results (out of county so ours will be posted) and (b) whether the boys actually get told their score? I am getting so many conflicting answers I'm just not sure of anything anymore!!
Good luck to everyone doing NVR today or tomorrow x

Results are posted on 14th October. Whether the actual score is given depends on the school. Most schools will give you the score on the phone even if they do not include it in the letter, though there are still a few who don't like to do this.

I wasn't told DD's score for her school, as a pass means a place (dependant on catchment). I did call up the school a few days later out of curiosity and was told it. Not sure if you get told your score if you don't pass though.
However for DS who takes his NVR tomorrow, we will be told the score as only the top 145 get a place (huge catchment) so you need to know the score before you can confidently choose your school.

Are the results posted to the primary schools on the same day?

Another parent asked me if the primary school will know before the parents or not.....

One of the parents actually asked the head of our primary this morning.

Apparently KEVIGS will sometimes email the results out on the friday (but very late on in the day) to the primary schools.
