I would be interested to know if anyone has received their results from Caistor yet. We are still waiting.

Not yet. Considering the results were posted last Wednesday they are taking a long time to get through. I am going to ring them soon.

I'd be pleased if you let me know what they have to say. I'm fed up waiting. King Edward Grammar School were much more efficient giving their results out.

Dee, has your post been delivered yet today? I have not seen our postman yet so I don't know if he has delivered to other houses or if he is late.

Yes, my post has arrived. Just one letter from a company in Grimsby posted 15/10 with 32p stamp.

I am trying to ring them but surprisingly they are always engaged. I'll bet the phone lines are very busy today!

We didn't sit for Louth, just Caistor. How did King Edward handle their results? Did you do well?

Yes my son 'has the appropriate level of ability to be admitted to a selective school within the Lincolnshire Consortium of Selective Schools' as was written on his letter. These results were posted last Friday and I received them on the Saturday. The school opened the Hall from 12 - 2 pm just in case you didn't receive them by post so that you could drive there and collect them.

Dee, I have just spoken to Mr Hale who gave me the results over the phone. Mixed news - my son passed 11+ but because we are out of catchment it was not sufficient enough to be offered a place.

Give them a call as there are two people dealing with results info at Caistor.

Sorry to hear your son didn't reached the mark required. I suppose I'll have to ring them. I feel sick thinking about it.
