We're just out of catchment for Louth and Caistor (live in Market Rasen), so hoping to be lucky next year.

I know of a couple of children that live in Market Rasen, who got into Louth. Also, one of my daughters friends last year, she took the tests for both Louth and Caistor Grammar and passed both (I think she was out of catchment for both).

Her 1st choice was Caistor , which she got offered a place on allocation day last year. The only downside for her parents was the commute back and forth to school. I think she has to be out of the house at about 7-7.15 in the morning.

Also, as she is out of catchment, her parents have to pay the transport costs . I think it is about £100-£120 each term. Though they did say it was worth it, and she loves the school.

Hope everything goes well for you for next year.
