i think the children all take it together no matter where they are from, they just get assigned a centre that is accessable to them. dd1 was the first year they didnt do it in the comfortable surroundings of their own primary - she had to go to Rochester Grammar in the SNOW - it was very badly organised as it was the first year of doing it, and we waited in a line out in the snow, it was dreadful. We got in and they argued with me about the amount of tuck i had given her - i won! But because of all this we both found it very stressful.
last year dd2 was assigned a large local primary, and it was organised brilliantly! She was so relaxed that during the breaks her and a friend were doing another childs hair!

Reading back on my post on the exam day makes me feel a little better. I really hope we get good news in Kent, amazing how I am trying to dig and find out what may have gone wrong. Whats done is done now, just have to move on. Arrgggggggggggrrrrrrr
