A pass for us also...so relieved!! DD away with the school this weekend so doesn't even know yet.

What was the format of the email this year ? Well done to all the DC who have got the result they wanted .

The format of e-mail seemed as evasive as ever, when your nerves are shattered it can make words seem very difficult to decipher 
a simple passed or not passed would help!
Format was :
Test assessment : The test assessment was *** (score). The minimum score required for a child to be assessed as suitable for admission to a Medway Grammar is : 505.

DD passed too. Very pleased and a huge relief. Pleased that the email was also prompt at 16:02!!
Heard of some close marks just under the pass mark, from a school that sat at Rainham Girls so will be interesting to know how appeals go.
Format is:
The test assessment result is ***. The minimum score required for a child to be assessed as suitable for admission to a Medway grammar school is: 505.
Please wait for your formal assessment decision letter for full details of your child's scores and what to do next.
Then details about closing date for admissions etc.

I think the comments above show why the parent needs to look first - bad enough for them but tricky for the kids to untangle it.... particularly as they sometimes say "this is not an offer of a place" - of course not that happens in march , but can induce panic seeing the words!
