successful bus pass appeal?

(obviously on condition she passes) before we go looking at schools, just wondering of success on bus pass appeals from hoo to rochester grammar (from last year) as fort pitt changed its admission criteria last year, so whereas before fort pitt were closest but unlikely to get in, and therefore free bus pass to second choice would be guaranteed (rochester) this year if we put fort pitt we are likely to get in. Obviously need to factor in the transport cost when making a decision. and if people were successful on what grounds?
