Someone may come along with local knowledge, but does this help?

(This is for 2017, I have no idea if it has changed)
Have you looked on the local council website?

Test papers

The Medway Test is made up of three separate papers:

Extended Writing
Mathematics
Verbal Reasoning
I'm quite sure that is CEM.

Sally Anne is correct,

Extended Writing: Score counts double 2 x 140, Topic set by local team appointed by Medway Council.
Mathematics: Score counts double 2 x 140, CEM Paper, changed from GL for Sept 2017 exam.
Verbal Reasoning: 1 x140, CEM Paper , CEM Paper, changed from GL for Sept 2017 exam, biased towards English reasoning questions rather than Maths. (based upon my poor memory!) However, no Non Verbal or Spatial Reasoning.

Therefore max score 700

Pass Mark last year circa 495

I trust the exam goes well for you

Where does the 140 come from please? Am trying to work out what constitutes a pass mark using practice papers.
Thanks

140 is a standardised score. Unless raw scores are released there is no way of knowing the correlation between the raw score & the standardised score (it will be standardised by birth month).

It will be a standardised score, so represents how the candidate did in the paper, relative to the other candidates. The underlying raw score which translates into any given standardised score will depend on the mean and the standard deviation.

Generally, a standardised score of above 115 means that the candidate is in the top 16% or so of the cohort.
