Great news!

We’re over the moon!

We have a pass of 534.

Over the moon considering we suffered a bereavement on top of her exam.

Such a brave girl :)

I am so sorry for your loss. Your daughter has done so well despite the difficult circumstances. Well done. Are you IC?

Daddyof3,

619 is a very good score and will definitely be enough for The Rochester Grammar School.

Someone else talked of 30 to 40 points above the pass mark from memory, without checking I think in recent years 33 has been the highest score required above the pass mark and it is generally 10 to 20 marks.

It's definitely been quiet on the Medway front! My daughter passed :) If the maximum score is 700 does that mean that someone would have scored that in order to 'cut off' the score at 700? Just trying to ascertain how it all works! Thanks. Well done to everyone.

Hi,
My son got 618 in Medway Test. We Live out of catchment area, in Ashford in Kent.
Can anyone say what was the cut off last year in boys grammar schools in Medway .
Whether this score will fetch place in any of the boys grammar schools in Medway .

Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Yes it’s been a tough time & so unfair on her to have all of this at the same time.

She was considered ooc taking the test although we live IC.
We agreed that she could finish at her primary once we moved to Kent last year.

Congrats. You should be fine for Holcombe Grammar, but I think you may be too far out for the other 2. (Rochester Math and Rainham Mark).

Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School
Cut off distance was 6175 metres (by nearest safe walking route).

Rainham Mark Grammar School
The school selected on high scores until 2017 and has now switched to mainly geographical proximity.

Holcombe
Offered late places to a large number of boys in 2017, mainly from London Boroughs.

This was the only information I could find that referenced Distance. So agree with Olucares that Holcombe might be your best bet.

Well Done on the pass.
