RGS drops A Levels
Glad we didn't send our daughter there in the end.

I wonder if the decision to abolish Alevels will have any impact on the New admissions. I suppose in time, well find out. Do you think many parents would be put off sending their daughter there? Ultimately, it could end up pushing out the Medway girls into Kent and surrounding areas.

Re: RGS drops A Levels
For us, living just over the border in KCC, it was a choice of RGS and their talk of pushing girls, or a normal non super-selective grammar who talked about supporting those girls who might need help. Early indications are that we have made the right choice. We want our daughter to do well and achieve, but we also want her to enjoy her teenage secondary years.
