Medway total Test score

Hello,
can anyone please confirm the total exam score for the Medway test?
passmark has been set to 483 this year lowest since 2013
!

It's 700.
5x140.
280 (double weighted) for Maths and Writing and 140 for VR.

Does anyone know if a score above 280 is possible? My daughter gained higher than this for extended writing, she is born in June - could it be extra for being younger? Thanks.

HI ciaowood, great stuff on scoring more than 280, not sure if thats an error as maximum marks are 280. What is the total that your DD/DS got ? My DD got 596 - Is this a good score ? there is no reference to gauge which schools I can apply ?

I have seen this happen a few times, but it is usually just slightly above i.e. 282.
Your daughter must have done very well in the writing piece to have scored that highly, congrats to you both.

GL usually use 140 or 141 as the limit of the recorded range of standardised scores.

Medway is no longer GL. It is CEM.

Hi. She gained 650 overall with extended writing being scored 308.

That's a high score, last year was the first time I noticed the standardised scores going above 280 and not even by that margin. I hope you are within distance of your preferred school, as you may be aware Medway schools admit by distance once a pass is attained.
