Need help to understand these terms
Hi Everyone,
I am new into this system and while reading forums , I am unable to understand few terms
1) what is ranking means
i.e 1st in 92th rank
2nd is 42nd rank ,
347th rank and so on
2) what is reallocation means and when/ how parents fill the forms?
3) what is cut off means

Some schools give rankings which is a list in order of merit, based on the oversubscription criteria. If you are ranked no. 1 then you are first in the list.1) what is ranking means
This is a process that runs after allocation day in March. People can go on the waiting list or make a new application for a school. The LA will have a policy for reallocation.
