1) what is ranking means

i.e 1st in 92th rank
2nd is 42nd rank ,
347th rank and so on

2) what is reallocation means and when/ how parents fill the forms?

1) what is ranking means
Some schools give rankings which is a list in order of merit, based on the oversubscription criteria. If you are ranked no. 1 then you are first in the list.
what is reallocation means and when/ how parents fill the forms?
This is a process that runs after allocation day in March. People can go on the waiting list or make a new application for a school. The LA will have a policy for reallocation. Calderdale's policy for reallocation. https://calderdale.gov.uk/v2/residents/ ... llocations" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
what is cut off means
This relates to a separation point between two states. For instance – qualified/not qualified or admitted/not admitted.
