My daughter was ranked 126 so should be assured of place at NHGS.
We had been worried as she seemed to get bogged down on a couple of maths questions rather than guessing and moving on. Her score of something like 194 (from memory) seemed inconsistently high, going off how many questions she said she missed (14 maths), but I was assuming same max score as in pre-test. I now realise this was not the case. As she missed out 10 VR questions also she must have got pretty much every thing else right.
Think it must have been a hard set of papers this year as we were very pleasantly surprised she did so well after how much she missed out.

This is a great relief as we live quite locally to NHGS, but there is no community comprehensive school in North Halifax as second choice - only religious schools which we are insufficiently pious for.

Her sister got into NHGS two years ago at rank 290.

Congratulations to your DD Martin. :D

I was surprised at the difference between the pretest and real test max scores.
