We are.

Cut off was back down to normal this year - 218. Forty-something passed from in-area.

I found out on a very excitable phone call, so don't have the letter with me. Will check full details later.

thanks - that's lovely, can imagine the excitable phone call!!!!

40 something is quite high for in area, but hopefully the distance that they take lads from will be quite wide.

Thanks everyone. Good luck Snowdrops (and everyone else who's working their way through fingernails right now).

I was far more relaxed about my own A-levels than I was about this!

Chuffed to little bits, the lad only went and passed :D :D :D

Cut off was 114 for Ripon. 227 passed (in and out of catchment) for 117 places. He is ooc, so fingers' crossed :D

127 passed for 117 places!!!!!

And the cut off was 214, not 114 - shame on you Hermy for not noticing :lol:

blimey - I'm addled!! too many different cutoffs these days :lol: :lol:

actually I was more worried about the 227 passing!!! thought that was going to turn into an allocation nightmare.. 127 is much more encouraging :wink:
