I only have to ask the local estate agents what house a certain Mr and Mrs Snowdrops are keen on and I can gazump you soon as say Daffodil!

look weather is grim oooop north today - have been through very soggy roads between Skipton and Clitheroe and there ain't a daffodil in sight. :lol: :lol: :lol:

It was never horrible weather in Peak Practice or All Creatures Great and Small unless the plot demanded it. I think you are imagining it.........!

If you sell up in Harrogate you could probably afford a small island off the Caribbean!! Looked there, wee bit pricey - is it Betty's???

Ilkley is also not cheap and they have a Betty's too.

Harrogate is one place I don't think I could live, but then my brother does. :lol:

Maybe we have moved on from the Waitrose Effect (we have one of those :D :D ) to the Betty's Effect!

The only Bettys effect we notice is the 18 months worth of DD bring home bread, cakes and biscuits - that's how long she's been working there and it's done my waistline no good at all :cry:
